Can a parent buy tickets to a rated r movie for kids and not go in with them?

I want to see Macgruber and my mom doesnt and says she will buy the tickets for me and let me go in but not her. can she do that?

    Yes, I’m pretty sure you can. I heard once that you can have a parent sign a note saying you were allowed in, but I’m not sure about that one, haha. But yeah, you should, I mean, she’s there and obviously allowing you to see it. they shouldn’t have a problem with it.

    She is not supposed to let you go alone!
    I did it a couple of times when I was younger I went to R movies without any adult!
