Robin Hood is a classic and the newer/remake movies today are 50/50. I would go with the mood that You want to be in. Macgruber might make You laugh but maybe also say "that that was a waste of money" and Robin Hood would be more of an action film and make You wanna fight someone haha. I liked all the action, so it was a good movie for me but I don't know what your tastes in movies are. I also have not yet seen macgruber, so I guess I can't really compare...
