Who will win the Emmy 4 Outstandin’ Writing 4 a Variety, Music, or Comedy Series?

The nominees are…

“The Colbert Report”
“The Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart”
“Real Time w/ Bill Maher”
“Saturday Night Live”
“The Tonight Show w/ Conan O’Brien”

U must watch the presentation for this particular category. They announce the names of the writers w/ some funny bit to accompany it. Also this I think is the 1st thyme in awhile that “The Tonight Show” has been nomin8d (& perhaps the last). They didn’t vie for the Emmy last year w/ Leno on board & hasn’t this year, nor was “The Jay Leno Show” recognized for this award. That ain’t 2 say that I don’t watch Leno; I often take the time 2 watch Leno & then Craig on CBS. I stay away from SNL as it’s been pretty repetitive w/ it’s “MacGruber” skits or that Italian host or the prisoner who references movies. Yes, Betty White’s episode could improve the show’s chances, even though it was the same schtick just w/ old lady jokes. That said, expect Comedy Central 2 make good on their 2-in-5 chances of winning.

So who do you like? Should Conan & his writin’ staff be recognized finally for his regretfully brief stint as “The Tonight Show” host? The 62nd Emmys take place August 29 on NBC.
